Anachronistic Disco

"Beware that this disc contains club remixes of First Choice songs by current remixers. The songs are brought into the 21st century; a dubious thing, since the originals still work as dance songs. Also, the collection contains early First Choice, omitting later songs like Doctor Love, Hold Your Horses, and Let No Man Put Asunder."

Maybe not the 'ultimate' club collection but pretty close

"Classic First Choice tracks are braught up to date on this collection by a variety of remixers, some with more sucess than others. The most sucessful remixes are the ones that stay true to the original tunes such as Full Intention's essential reworking of 'Armed and Extremely Dangerous'. Other highlights include Gambafreaks mix of 'Gotta Get Away' and the fantastic Harlem Hustlers Classic Mix of 'Love Freeze', almost worth the price of this album alone.
However, the album falls down by including several edits that are just too short by half as well as 3 dubs padding out the end of the album. Also, surely if this is the 'ultimate' club collection there would be remixes of other First Choice classics like Dr Love, Ain't He Bad or Double Cross.
While disco purists may prefer the originals, lovers of 21st century disco will definitely enjoy what this collection has to offer."
