"My opinion of James Horner is always going to be biased in his favor. Braveheart was his masterpiece. Titanic was a phenomenon. A Beautiful Mind, riveting. Apollo 13, majestic. The New World, uplifting.

This, amazing. I bought it when I heard a sample of "Legends of the Fall" on iTunes and was spellbound. Needless to say, I wasn't surprised to see Horner's name on it. He has a classic style for epic music, sweeping orchestra, a lot of themes with Frenchy French horns. It's not like Zimmer's Pirates or Elfman's "dark theater" themes. These are all bold and majestic and romantic and epic. If you love powerful music, you will love Horner. Buy his song."
