TU MI COMPLEMENTO MI MEDIA NARANJA!
S. Quinto | Guatemala, Guatemala | 08/29/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Fey never imagine that her debut album will influence more than half the population of little girls in Mexico and Central America. Coming in 1995 before Britney or any Pop Teen Idol Princess. Fey teached the girls how to dress and act. Her music had pure innocence in it. MEDIA NARANJA is a latino-classic now. Her euro-oriented pop flooded the radio waves from all Mexico-Guatemala to Panama. And that made her the top seller for cute few years til 1998 when her true age was reveal, and a different Fey emerged, and she had to battled with true teenagers girls of her cousin country Miss Spears and Aguilera. For Fey, her fate lead her to oblivion after her third album. But it's undeniable that her debut album could be found in many homes of Mid america, still ponping those infectuos beats. *****FIVE STARS, mainly for her status in POP Mexican Music Culture and her contribution to Overall sells in the World."
When was the last time music made you cry?

"I'm blown away by this CD. They don't really make bubblegum pop anymore. I didn't start listening to music until I was 17. Yes, that late. I always hated, hated, hated the sound of rock, especially classic rock. Their scratchy, noisy, screamy voices and nonsensical guitar soloing just hurts the ears beyond compare. I tried for years to make myself like it, but it just didn't happen. The first music to catch my ear was Asian pop. It was thumping technoish music, and my heart pounded from start to finish with bliss. But that music has since went more towards rap and R & B, and again I was left without a music I could call my own. The pop sound- that's what I'm looking for. The smacking beat and bright, upbeat, ultra-catchy melody is what I call real music. I heard a lot of Latin artists like Paulina (another one of my favorites), but not all of her music is pure pop. Some of it sounds traditional, with a lot of trumpets. That's where Fey comes in. Interestingly, Amazon references her with other Latin artists, such as Paulina. This is pure pop. I can't really give a favorite, since all of these are just awesome and entrancing, and when music is this awesome, the ballads are amazing, too. I do like track 11 immensely. I know there's a stigma with plastic music, but remember, this type of music is ran through the computers until it's perfect AND, they enlist the help of only the most talented songwriters. These are people who do nothing but write music, these ingenious melodies. A 10 year-old CD that outdoes most stuff made today. Better late than never!"
Empezando bien

"Este disco sabe muy bien para ser prefabricado. La voz de Fey (o los arreglos que le hacen) en la base del éxito de esta producion que sirve para enamorados cursis, para hacerse ilusiones bonitas o para bailar un rato. Es como si uno entrara a una habitacion bien decorada en rosa chillante, es dificil pero posible pero jamas dejara de ser cursi. Para ser un primer poducto de una atrista en polvo sin mayores pretenciones esta bien siempre y cuando se este conciente de ello."
