Chappottin Y Su Conjunto- "La Guarapachanga"

"One of Chappottin's biggest hits of the 60's and 70's was this great album's theme song "La Guarapachanga". This song was so popular that an updated version should've been recorded by Chappottin during the late 70's or prior to his demise in 1983. Several U.S. based latin music labels released this great compilation, first in vynil, when it became available during the early 70's and later on CD. 60's Chappottin hits like "Camina Y Prende El Fogon", "Quitate El Chaqueton", "La China Tiene Iman", "No Soporto Mas" etc. and blockbuster boleros like "Ansias De Ti", all sung by the late sonero Miguelito Cuni an all time member of the conjunto, sonero Conrado Cepero on chorus,(another Chapottin old time regular)and Luis Martinez Grin~an "Lili" on piano and also on many of the musical arrangement make this CD a "must get", for all Chappottin and afro-cuban music fans. Listen and enjoy!"
