CD ReviewsTukovich Craft belinda edwards | melbourne, victoria Australia | 09/27/2003 (4 out of 5 stars) "There is no doubt that Turkovich is a craftsman of flawless technique and even tone colour. I found no suprises on this CD... just good ol" Milan doing his stuff again. He makes it sound so easy. I was however a little frustrated with the second movement of the Mozart Concerto as it was performed at an incredibly slow tempo. A good example of musicality however, for those bassoon players out there who prefer it at a snails pace.
I think this CD is a must for any serious student needing examples of style and grace in some very important pieces in the bassoon solo repertoire." |
