The country has never had a dedicated post-rock/post-hardcore/post-metal label until Slow Burn, and these two bands represent some of the most interesting modern sounds Russia offers in this realm. Fading Waves' sound is airy and evocative, while Starchitect offers a refined kind of hardness and severity.
