Flirting with Disaster

""Nice Girls Say No", and perhaps The trio that made up the video-friendly side of The Flirts should have said "NO" before recording this collection of prime cheese.
Were it not for the song "Teenage Werewolf(I was a)", which piqued the interest of this particular collector of Halloween-related music, I would have never even considered listening to this bit of 80s dross. It's hard to imagine who this song might have been aimed at, but i guess even cheesy wannabe breakdancers had Halloween Parties back in the 80s.
The Flirts were an Otherwise Forgettable group of trend-followers who had a minor hit with strong rotation back in MTV's early days. Remember "(Don't Put Another Dime in the) Jukebox"?
I don't want to hear THAT song no more.
How forgettable were The Flirts? So Forgettable that not one of the Trio is credited on this CD re-release. Which makes this album seem more like just an extension of Bobby Orlando's glorified Casio wetdream.
I give it one star for the werewolf song, and the second star is for the very Un-PC song "Oriental Boy" which is so full of reference to Asian Stereotype (...) for listening to it in California. Karate Chop my Heart, Indeed."
