Brito's interpretations of Lecuona's music are faithful to the author's intents and to the Spanish and African influences on Cuban classical music of the epoch of the compositions. Brito's interpretation of the piece by his beloved teacher, the late Touzet, is unequaled by any other contemporary virtuoso.
