Sony Music Entertainment is pleased to announce another ten releases in its increasingly comprehensive series of Classical Masters. These new box sets contain classic interpretations by some of the most celebrated musicians of the 20th century. This new Sony Classical release needs no elaboration. It comprises the complete Victor recordings of the incomparable tenor Enrico Caruso, made between 1902 and 1920. In the words of singing authority John Steane: Carusos records with very few exceptions are marvellous and moving from the first in the series to the last the richest legacy we have from these early days of the gramophone. The new reissue comprises RCAs 1990 digital remastering of this unique landmark in the history of recording.
