"This recording is actually one of the best work I have heard out of John Marshell, one of the tamest from Elton Dean. Even for 1978 when this album was released, it really breaks no new ground in music- pop or jazz... but it is well written and performed. It clearly comes from the intellectual musical minds of the ensemble, not at all a commercial attempt (Thank God)!"
