Synopsis

Album Description
Early 1994 the album, which was to be the last to come from Bloomster and the boys. Freewheelin' showed another side of the boys, more heavy and less funk, but still recognisable as Electric boys. First single, 'Ready To Believe', was like a punch in the stomach, and other songs like, 'Mountains And Sunsets', 'Groover' and 'Not My Cross To Bear' showed a band that should be among the giants of hard rock. Sweden Rock. 2005.

CD Reviews

Easily their BEST album!
Metal Pete | Florida | 09/27/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you liked the first two, or either of them, you will love this one. This one really rocks. It is the heaviest of the three albums, and by far my favorite. Nearly every song is a stomping rocker. The groove is heavy and melodic, and still carries some of that funkiness that set them apart. Conny is at the top of his game here and this should have been all over radio, except we all know radio completely blows (satellite radio is now necessary for us true rockers)!

It's hard to pick the best songs off this record. All are good, with their own great qualities. For me, "Straight No Chaser" and "Groover" are favorites, along with "Sharpshooter", "Ready to Believe" and ESPECIALLY the title cut. But "Mountains and Sunsets", "My Knuckles Your Face" also kick major azz.

You really cannot go wrong with this disc. I paid more than Amazon wants for it on ebay and I do not regret it one bit.

BUY IT!!

PS: Conny's solo album "Psychonaut" is also very much worth picking up, but may be harder to find still."
