Synopsis

Product Description
In a mere five years, Edge of Dawn has become a well-loved band in the electronic,
industrial, and goth genres. Their music is a combination of elements from
futurepop to synthpop, and everything in between. For 2010, the band is poised
to release their newest opus, Anything That Gets You Through The Night. Vocalist
Frank M. Spinath explains, The title purposefully leaves room for your imagination.
The central theme of the album is survival, but in many different ways and under
different circumstances such as pressure, danger, or lust. Everything is allowed, if
it serves the purpose of surviving the night. Anything That Gets You Through The
Night is a thrill ride from start to finish with its persuasive bass lines and meaningful
lyrics. When it s all said and done, what gets you through the night?

"I've come to expect quite a bit from Edge of Dawn because they deliver whenever they are asked to. Whether it is in the voal department or it is in the beat department, they always have something great to offer their listener. So, when i saw this was coming out, I knew i had to get it.

i was right in that assumption.

Since all of these songs can be listened to by you in segments, it doesn't really help for me to say "you should get this because..." Instead, i want to point out that this album is not like the last albums and yet it is, taking something that was great and stepping up again. I expected it from Seabound and I expected it from this spin-off and, really, why shouldn't I? Everyone I know that has listened to it has bought it and that, in itself, says a lot.

Truly, if you like a beat and vocals that can move you, then this is for you. You don't have to buy an older disc to get into them either - you simply plug this in and you play it, knowing this is for you. you don't have to like Electronics or EBM or any branded type of music to get into this. All you have to do is appreciate singers that can sing and bands that can make the body want to move and you have something you want.

Personally, I thought music like that had gone to that great little place in the sky. But it hasn't and, happily, you can see it simply by trying it on for size. I recommend it with all my might and then some but, as I said, don't take my word for it. You simply check out the songs one at a time, let them sink in, and see how it sounds.

It sells itself - and it creates fans after they listen to it for a while. Simply give it a chance and find out."
