A MUST for all Celtic Music Fans!

"For Eden's Bridge & Celtic music fans, this CD is a MUST! This is by far their most accomplished project. The Christian Celtic spirituality is beautifully communicated in sound, biblical lyrics that are written with great skill with Holy Spirit-infused creativity. The instrumentals are very well played and the balance is perfect.

Bravo! - for the gorgeous, well-articulated lyrics in the vocals. And the part singing is so beautiful!

I also appreciate the creativity in changing rhythms & meters so that the ostinatos do not ever become tiresome. In addition, in strophic songs, there is a lovely addition of variety each time to the verse and/or refrain, as new lines and/or rhythms & dynamics are improvised with the melody to add nuance to the lines. The variety of both Celtic & contemporary instruments used are all consistently well-played.

The theme of the CD, namely Christian pilgrimage throughout all of life, and worship in all of life, is so beautifully communicated by these masterful musicians who obviously sing to the glory of God and lead listeners in a variety of moods in the experience of worship: from rejoicing, to quietness of soul before God in contemplation of the hardships we face in the pilgrimage of life, to glorious contemplation of our relationship with him, bringing mundanity to a holy level.

This CD declares the reality of hope - the nearness of God's presence - in the context of hardship. This is definitely my favorite Celtic Christian CD, and I play it in my high school classroom frequently. The kids even like it!

I remember hearing one of the songs on the radio played on the bus when I was in the U.K. a couple of summers ago (when it was released). The song was one of the hits that year!

Please show your support by purchasing this CD so that Eden's Bridge will produce more projects like it!"

"I really took a chance on ordering this disc, although I was familiar with Eden's Bridge's fantastic music before I bought this CD. The disc arrived last week and my husband and I have enjoyed listening to it several times already. It's wonderful dinner and conversation music with a positive Christian message. It's also some of the most creative and original music I've run across."
Heavenly

"Eden's Bridge was completely unknown to me before I came across "Open Sea", which is featured on Iona's "Songs For Luca" album. This track is one I continually listened to for two weekends before I found the album at Amazon. It was a risk buying it, but it paid off.

Sarah Lacy's singing is a great singer, with an absolutely stunning voice and with diction which sounds perfect. She has great backing from top class musicians (Richard Lacy (relation; husband, brother?), Terl Bryant (formerly Iona), Michael McGoldrick (Kate Rusby?) and others, together with a set of very strong songs produced a brilliant album. The music is quite understated - nothing brash - and, although the album is strong on religious content, the messages come across in the same understated manner, without being sermons. This is particularly pleasing to me as, although very open-minded, I would not call myself spiritual.

It all adds up to a heavenly, beautiful album. It is quite a recent album which is difficult to find in the UK - Amazon.Co.Uk does not have it, but if you do buy it, you will not be disappointed.
