Eddie Sauter made his name as arranger for many great Orchestras of the Big Band Era. He worked for Charlie Barnet, Artie Shaw, Woody Herman, Ray McKinley and Benny Goodman. After the well known Sauter-Finegan Orchestra Eddie Sauter left the SWF Orchestra succeeding Kurt Edelhagen. The great Orchestra is featured on twenty tracks on this first time CD release with some arrangements by Eddie Sauter.
