"The ASMF Chamber Ensemble produces an atmospheric interpretation of the Dvorak sextet, nuanced and varied. They add an uncommon sense of urgency, but the music does not really suffer from that, and it comes in combination with a lightness of touch and a sense of virtuosity which add up to a very satisfying performance.

The Martinu sextet is actually a surprisingly contrasted coupling - elegant and urban, as opposed to Dvorak's sunny and slightly rustic landscapes. It is a fine work, and the ASMF deals with it just as well as with the Dvorak. The recording is slightly resonant and distanced, but not objectionable. Recommended."
