CD ReviewsThe Best Album Without Wilko 03/17/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "After Wilko Johnson left Dr. Feelgood, the dynamics of the band changed. The focal point became Singer Lee Brilleaux. This album features the second Feelgood Guitarist (and present Yardbird) Gypie Mayo. The production here was handled by Nick Lowe and is absolutely crystal clear. Lowe had a hand in a number of songs and it shows. The highlight of this album is a wonderful version of the blues song "Violent Love".
