CD Reviews

This is an EXCELLENT CD!...

"I am not a big fan of Donny Osmond, but I bought this CD back in 1989 because I loved the song "Soldier of Love". Little did I know that this CD has some of the greatest ballads I have ever heard. By far, the best song of this CD is the bonus track, "I'm In It For Love". Not only is it quite melodic, the harmony and the beat is just perfect. I also think that "Only Heaven Knows" is one of the best, too. Donny has a tremendous voice, and I think that because of his "Donny and Marie" days, this album was overlooked. Even though this album is 14 years old, the music is definitely NOT outdated."
Donny's got soul!

"I had the pleasure of working on this CD as a backing vocalist on the bonus track "I'm In It For Love". I remember being amazed by Donny's voice! He has tremendous range as an artist. He touches on the territory of that time : Michael Jackson, Prince, and George Michael. If the industry had just given the public a chance to discovery Donny as the new man he was portraying on this CD, he could have given the artists I named a run for their money, (with the acception of Prince). Prince is in another catagory as artist's go for being so creative and yet commercial with his classic approach to song writing, but DONNY IS AN EXTREMELY UNDERRATED VOCALIST! The songs on this CD are good and Donny is anything but the "goody two shoes" of his childhood image. The Man's got soul and sings with a lot of heart! I'm proud to have been a part of this, I just wish more people had heard how truely talented Donny Osmond is."
