Can't get better than this...

"Jazz is all about improvisation...this CD says it all. Dizzy Gillespie original band that was going to play in Montreux was sent to Holland by mistake...a new band was formed 3 hours before the concert...with none less than these great musicians - Ray Brown, Milt Jackson, Monty Alexander...the results were fantastic - the track "Get Happy" really brings you the climate of the concert. The recording is also good. One can clearly distinguish all instruments, including Gillesie's and Faddis's trumpets."
