Beautiful music, songs both rousing and moving

"This is just a damned fine album. I bought it after hearing 'When the Sumac is on Fire' on a public radio station. Practically every song on this is beautiful and True (in the sense of "I don't know if it happened, but it's True"). The music is great and the lyrics are wonderful and this Dick Siegel guy has a rich expressive voice. The light hearted songs bring a smile and a swing of the foot and songs like 'Carry Me Away' do that. You will surely not make an error if you buy this album now."

"I lived in Dick's hometown (Ann Arbor) in the 80's and I saw him play at least a hundred times. I bought the lp when it first came out. I'm looking forward to hearing it on CD."
