CD Reviews

Definitely A CD Worth Buying!

"When I interviewed them on PhilRadio International, they had just released their single, "When I" which is included in this full CD. I knew then that they were going to be widely accepted not only in the Philippine and Asian markets but within the mainstream music scene as well.
Devotion is gifted not only with great voices but with harmonic talent which is reflected in most of their songs. To this day, my favorite song in this CD is the acapella version of "When I" which puts Devotion in the same league as any of today's boy bands. I also like their version of "More Than Words" which was first made popular by the group Extreme and also by Eric Clapton.
Devotion's passion for singing is what makes this CD worth listening to. All their songs come from the heart."
Good...but definitely not the next Kai!

"For Devotion being a debut group just starting out in the midst of the Filipino gold music rush as i like to call it. With Inspire, EDJJ, Souldiers, Azn Dreamers, and so many other Asian young boy groups trying to come out...i give them props for doing so many damn preformances! When i first heard them back in sept 99' i thought their harmonizing skills weren't all that! But when i took the risk of buying their Cd,i gotta admit i was quite impressed! Taken over by tears in some of the songs, and now alot of those songs have sentimental value towards my past relationships...LoL! I strongly believe that if they decided to hang in there and come out with a second album that they will also become very mature and take the chance of showing their composition skills, as most do in their second albums.......or some don't!"
