More classic thrash from Germany's best!

"Superb thrash metal with amazing guitar work is what Destruction offers us on this awesome release. Classics such as "Eternal Ban" and "Curse The Gods" make this disc essential for any Destruction fan. Destruction became more technical on this album, and matured a bit from their earlier release, "Infernal Overkill", however, they certainly didn't lose any of the energy and speed that makes them great. Pure headbanging mania! Long live Destruction!"

"Destruction was one of the serious well known thrash bands from Germany, along with Sodom and Kreator, they took over the world releasing quality albums throughout the years. The thing that sets Destruction apart from the before mentioned bands and the whole trash metal genre in general was their two man guitar assualt force!! I cant remeber the name right know, but man, these two guys could PLAY GUITAR!!!! This album is thier best in my opinion, it is the classic thrash sound, but like I said before, taken to the next level buy the guitar players. These guys trade solos like their nothing and some of the riffs are just impossible to duplicate. The voice is a nasty gnarl, typical of the time, and the drumming is satisfactory. One listen to songs like "Eternal Ban" and "Mad Butcher" and I assure you, you will want to own all their catalog. If you consider yourself to be a serious metal fan, then you must give this band a try, you will thank me for it. Also, give thier new albums a try, they are solid."

"Destruction....this band couldnt suck if they tried! This being their third and fourth release, they still conquer the world of thrash metal. Sentence of Death was mind-blowing, Infernal Overkill was a shotgun blast to the face, and now we have Mad Butcher and Eternal Devastation. Just as amazing as the first two ablums, if not better! The re-release of Mad Butcher is psychotic, and Reject Emotions and Last Judgement make the EP one that every thrash metaler must own. And thats not even all you get, theres a whole other album included! Eternal Devastation is out of this f**king world! It is complete CHAOS and Raw Power, showing just how amazing the musicians of Destruction are! Curse the Gods is one of the greatest thrash metal songs ever made, Life Without Sense is AMAZING! The start of the song is a wicked guitar solo, and it just gets sicker from there. The guitar riff is outstanding, Schmier's vocals are AWESOME! everything is awesome. United by Hatred is gut-bursting SICK. Upcoming Devastation...well you get the point the entire album is psychotically insane. If you are true to thrash and you dont have this album you will be shot. If you survive and still dont get the album you will be shot in the head."
