Synopsis

Album Description
Though it's no secret that members of THE DEMONSTRATION are now part of the Killwhitneydead camp and have been touring under the KWD moniker for quite some time now, let there be absolutely no confusion about their intent. THE DEMONSTRATION are no "side project" they are in fact and were a cohesive unit long before being asked to join Killwhitneydead by ringleader, Matt, to help carry on the KWD torch when previous members were unable to tour. Their stunning debut "Existence" provided evidence of an ambitiously technical metallic beast, while their follow up "Words Of A Con-Artist," is a more direct, yet still varied attack upon the listener. This new assault could be due in part to the addition of new vocalist, Zachary Messick, stepping into the fold and exhibiting a wide array of vocal styles. Whether he is howling in a ballsy whiskey-soaked melodic rasp or summoning the devil from deep within his arrival has brought new life to THE DEMONSTRATION. With the release "Words Of A Con-Artist," THE DEMONSTRATION are out to turn heads and convert the already fanatical legions into loyal fans for life.

CD Reviews

Good Deathcore Music is Rare
C. M. Gillum | Michigan | 01/03/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you are looking for bands that keep their music brutal but also have the creativity to mess around and experiment with different licks and styles this band is def for you. For the most part they are primarily in the Deathcore but also add a little something to their tracks many of the others in the genre don't, Creativity.

In the track Pretty Bones the band experiments with some licks that almost sound as if the band included Keyboards into their music, to the trained ears you would know with a little help from effects this is simply creative guitar riffing and tapping. You hear similar sounds from the band through out the album where they break away from the brutality for a moment or two to lay down some very creative licks in the prefore mention style.

The vocals can range from deep gutteral growls to higher pitched screams and yells and even some normal vocals here and there adding a nice personally touch to the music. Anyone interested in this type of music I advise you pick this up, it is very creative also keep note that most of the guys in this band are also heard in the band KillWhitneyDead.

Furthermore, If you enjoy this album then I advise you check out the band From The Shallows my fav album being Beyond the Unknown. Keep it F*kin Metal!"
