CD Reviews

Compilation Indeed

"This is another example of poor compilations by EMI!

Don't get me wrong, I love Deborah Harry and all these songs are great! This compilation could have been better.

Most of these tracks are under-rated album tracks, b-sides, and obscure Debbie. Still missing her unrealesed stuff and her numerous soundtrack singles through the late 80's to the early 90's.

Features only three of her hits and not in their original forms, (except french kissin in the usa).

If your a hardcore fan get this for your collection.

However if your an interested Debbie Harry Fan just starting your collection, Start with Once More Into The Bleach or Most Of ALL collections. They will have her singles and other hits."
A fantastic album showcasing Debbie's solo hits

"I thought this was an extremely good album. The only song I had heard before I bought it was "French Kissin", but I'm a HUGE Blondie fan, so I thought hey it's Debbie Harry, so I'll try it. Wow, IT IS AMAZING!!!!! My personal favorites include, "Surrender" (which often gets stuck in my head and I end up singing it all day), "Inner City Spillover" and "Bike Boy". However, those are only a few great ones as they are all excellent. If you are a Blondie fan, or a fan of 80s music in general, and you haven't heard much of Debbie Harry's solo material, I suggest you pick this album up, it's great!"
D.H. Rocks !!

"I just love the title song "French Kissing" - the words are clever, the beat is sexy - you won't be able to help yourself, you'll be up dancing, singing at the top of your lungs looking for someone to French Kiss. I really dig a couple of the later songs on the track - "Mood Ring" & "The Fugitive" - D.H. has a great range to her voice - her talent is amazing. You won't be disappointed shelling out a few coin for this CD."
