COULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE GREATS!!

"In 1991 Davis Daniel debuted with this CD. I remember hearing the song "Picture Me" on the radio and thinking, "there's a song and that's a singer". Unfortunately, Daniel came along at a time when the Garth Brooks mania was going on and he got lost in the shuffle with some bad record deals (his label went bankrupt). What was not lost was his talent and his music. This guy could and should have been one of the great country music artists. A good old home boy and family man, Davis Daniel marks his debut CD with mostly ballads but its a beautiful testament to his talent and to unfulfilled potential. Every song on here could have been released as a single and made it to the top if promoted the right way.

Its all about WHO you know in the music business and all about timing as well. The best cuts besides "Picture Me" are "For Crying Out Loud" a hit single for him and "I've Still Got a Crush on You". But, as I said, this guy should have been one of the greats. Daniel has since gotten out of the music business which is everyone's loss. This CD is highly recommended!!"
