"Prayer For Compassion" does not disappoint. It contains all the expected humanistic, warm tonalities and wonderful tuneful passages one would expect from his work.

"Prayer for Compassion is David Darling's CD from the heart. For me, to date, this is his legacy collection, pulling together his musical genius of a life time of improvisation and composition. It is a compilation of pieces full of the soul, reflecting David's dream to end the ugliness on earth by abolishing war, poverty and replacing it with love for all living things. This music is beautifully lyrical filled with gorgeous harmonies. David's cello sings to us, cries to us, and relaxes in the most profound of ways.
