David the Dance Diva?

"Having grown up with the Partridge Family and being a David Cassidy fan during the pre-disco years, I guess I'd have to say I have a small soft spot for this brave attempt at a dance disk. Actually I have friends who said the dance version of David's "I Think I love You" did receive air play in the dance clubs when this was released. I have to admit, this is not David's forum but it is no worse than Cher's "Take Me Home" Casablanca LP. It is not downright horrible and truly worth a listen, but it is not my favorite Cassidy project but he does get through this successfully. It may be harder to get now-a-days whereas it was released on David's own shortlived Slamajama label and was sold on QVC with the long sought after "David Cassidy's Partridge Family Favorites". But please don't think this is a waste of time! There is a great tune "No Bridge I Wouldn't Cross" that is a Cassidy masterpiece and did receive limited airplay. Awesome tune as well as "Peace , Love & Happiness", the beautifully rendered "Sheltered In Your Arms", the funky retro "Show & Tell" and the bassey remade of "Ricky's Tune". I could have done without the disco version of "I Think I Love You" cause they have beaten that tune into the ground. But the price of admission is worth it just for "No Bridge" which is a Cassidy classic!"
Not one of the best, but maybe worst

"I didn't like either versions of "I Think I Love You" found at the beginning and end of this CD. The remakes of Partridge Family songs weren't so hot either. I did like a few songs, but the CD "Didn't You Use To Be..." was much better. This CD will grow on you after while,if your a fan."
