CD Reviews

Another great CD, hace bailar mi corazon gitana
Bernice Zambrano | Chicago | 10/05/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you love David Bisbal, you have another winner in this new CD. Premonicion has something for everyone from the emotional ballads that he sings so well, to the pop rock that gets everyone's feet moving. My favorite is Torre Babel. (Hace mi corazon gitana brincar y bailar con alegria!) It features David Bisbal at his very best singing his fusion of flamenco and Indian rhythms with reggeton! David has personally contributed to this album and the lyrics make many very strong statements about the artist himself and the world. If you are fan of David Bisbal, you won't be disappointed in this CD."
Disapointing

"I think David Bisbal should stick with his roots, the flamenco/pop he does like no other. This album is more rock, typical music of today, nothing like the different sounds that his two first albums brought. I don't find the same enthusiastic David as in previous songs. His ballads are boring, and the rest of the album is dull and very predictable. I love this singer, but I think he should stick to the best tallent he has, and that is to bring his roots to the forefront and keep the rock music to the rockers. I don't care for rock, perhaps that's why I don't like this album, but I truly don't think it's going to catch on like the other two he did. "Torre de Babel" is great though, it's David Bisbal singing and doing what he does best, flamenco/pop, original and different. I was anticipating this album, now I'm just sorry I bought it....good thing it was on sale, that should say something about it, it's not selling well if only after 2 weeks of being out, it's already being discounted. I hope his next is flamenco/pop otherwise, he'll lose this fan."
Outstanding! (more rock than pop)

"this CD is fantastic. i usually love david's voice singing ballads (which this CD has), but there are more rock tracks here than on his others. the tunes are great; his voice is so strong, he carries them all very well. some reggaeton and an indian flair thrown in; a little of everything. should win some new fans (as if he didn't have enough already?)."
