CD Reviews

Love story gone emo
Kyndle Naric | Modesto, California | 05/29/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"A great 4 song love story... Seeing someone and wanting to get to know them, The anticipation of asking someone out and the excitement of getting to know someone. It captures the way you feel and worry about what to wear on the first date, and then the way it all comes into one perfect play. Just perfect.

I love the older stuff, it's the best because it's more of a time when their music could be played more how they wanted. ANd now that they've become more popular, their music sounds canned (a mark, a mission, a brand, a scar). If you like the older stuff like Swiss army romance, you'll love these acoustic songs."
Hands Down, This Is an Awesome Album
Mrs. Danny Jones | Indiana, USA | 03/13/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I love the original acoustic version of Hands Down.

That was the song that launched me into emo and a lot of the bands I like today.

It's the only song currently that will make me cry. Last night, I was searching for something to give me a good cry on my MP3 player because I was feeling really crappy. Nothing worked until I got to Hands Down.

Anyway, the whole EP is awesome. I love every song on it except for Remember to Breathe, and I still love that a lot."
