Mellow But Worth A Listen
NunYoBusiness | GREENFIELD, MA USA | 10/01/2004

"For all the bands out there trying to run from their past and sound like all the other cookie cutter factory made Bands give this disc a listen. Here is a band that takes great pride in producing music that means something to them not the Record Company's bottom line. It's not that these songs don't sound vital, good music spans the ages not the day, week, or month. If other bands from the 80's/90's would make music like this they might still have a larger fan base. My wife who thinks that most of my music is headache inducing (Metallica, Linkin Park, Shinedown, The Proclaimers, Flogging Molly, Molly Hatchet, Thin Lizzy, Dokken, Bush) calls this our traveling disc she loves every song on the disc. The sound on this disc is pretty mellow that's not a bad thing when you just want to sit back and listen to heartfelt calming music. When I listen to this music it brings to mind past love's and thing's that could of been. This is by far the best Dare CD yet the best tracks on the disc are "Days Gone By" "Beneath The Shining Water" and "Last Train". Give this disc a spin and try not to think about an old Love or long lost friend. I know this sounds sappy but give this disc a spin it'll never leave your player"
Superb but short!

"Another excellent album by Dare, one of the best musicians in the world (and the most underrated!). Darren excels in this new album like usual with beautiful melodies and romantic lyrics. 2 drawbacks: Not a lot of variety, and a very short album (around 44 minutes)!"
