"I'm more of the type that listens to heavy metal or harder rock then Daphne Loves Derby, but every so often i like to calm it down and listen to something mellow, and this is the cd i listen to. It's a great cd and everyone should buy it."

DLD Is Back Again

"Daphne Loves Derby definitely has a specific sound, so if you dislike a higher pitched "emo" voice then steer clear of this one, otherwise you are in for a treat.

This is the 3rd album put out by DLD but don't think they they have lost their luster because of that. Overall the album contains some great hooks that will keep the songs buzzing in your head hours after you have taken a listen. Songs vary from soft("How's It Going to End?") to catchy ("That's Our Hero Shot"). Because the soothing voice of the lead singer (Kenny Choi) this makes great music to listen to in the background.

Some tracks to check out are "Miniature Christmas Tree", "Iron in the Backseat", and "Hello Color Red"

If you are an older DLD fan you'll notice that the overall sound of the band has not changed much but the sound feels more refined.

Overall, if you enjoyed On the Strength of All Convinced or Closing Down the Pattern Department then you will be sure to love "Good Night, Witness Light"
