"I think will not be available for long. Even though I really wanted this album for my collection and was eagerly awaiting some decent tracks, I have some criticisms. First of all there has been little to no promotion for this album from EsNtion Records her record company. To date there are no commercial singles. The only way to get good remixes of the two released tracks is by promo. When you listen to this album you can clearly hear the difference in tracks that had time invested in them and others that did not. A year ago when she broke onto the club scene it appeared that she would be one of those artists that would have a hit then fade away. Surprisingly she did not. And I am glad she didn't. The packaging of this album appears rushed. The artwork looks like it was done on a personal computer and the few photos show Danielle in a bad light. Come on guys can't we make her look "Fabulous!" I don't know if it is just my copy but the track listing on the inside is blurred. It looks like a serious lack of attention on the part of the designer. With that being said here is my take track-by-track.

Track 1. When the broken hearted love again (Josh Harris radio Mix):

Great song and her vocals really come through. They have spent some time crafting this song to make it sound the best it could. I was a little disappointed that the album version was not included. I don't know why they would not want to give it to us they are giving it away on her web site, and it's a great song. Hmmmmm?

Track 2. Kiss the sky (Dance):

Another great song. It has very catchy lyrics. This song gets caught in your head. It is another song where it appears they are not giving us the original version. What does the "Dance" mean anyway?

Track 3. Tearstains on the Dancefloor:

This song could very well be the 3rd single. This song can make you get up and dance. It will be very club friendly. When you listen to this song is seems like it could have used another layer of sounds.

Track 4. Don't give up on me yet:

This song is one that starts to show the rushed feel of some of this album. It feels like its missing something. It has an 80's feel to it reminiscent of groups like The Cover Girls, and Expose.

Track 5. Feelin' Like a fool:

This song is the definition of pop music. It has that 80's feel again. Perhaps the producers could have challenged themselves a little to do something with this song. It's an easy song to like; there isn't much to the lyrics.

Track 6. Forget about today:

This song is another one that feels rushed. I would like to see remixers to get their hands on this one. It could have been a little more beat driven. Hard beats even. It has lyrics that translate very well to the dancefloor.

Track 7. Boom Pop:

I'm not sure exactly what it means, or what she is singing about. It's a little on the soft side musically. The guitars are a nice touch. It left me wanting more from her on this. It feels like another one of the songs that are rushed.

Track 8. You want my love:

This song has the time invested in it. It has a sexual energy to it. You can hear all the right layers of music. She has a hit with this song let's just hope her record company hears it too.

Track 9. You'll always have me:

This is another song that sounds like The Cover Girls. It's as if the producers are trying to hide all the songs that have a lack of time spent perfecting them in between the good ones. The lyrics are great it just needs more layers of music. More sounds. More something????

Track 10. Right on the verge:

I fell in love with this song the moment I heard it. It reminds me of when I first heard "When the Broken hearted love again". This is a great dance track. It has so many layers musically and her vocals are so clear and sultry at the same time. This has got to be my favorite song on this whole collection.

Track 11. Kiss the sky (Rock remix):

At least if you are going to give us remixes with an album collection give us a good one. Even though I like remixes that alter the songs sound I just can not get my ears around this sound. All they did was put some layers of guitar on this song and called it "Rock remix".

Track 12. When the broken hearted love again (Chris Cox radio edit):

Why not the "Chris Cox club mix"? It's not like most people can even buy the Chris Cox mixes just give it to us. Why is another radio mix here? I could see if they presented the album version on this package that they would give us this. But not two radio mixes. Shame on you.

After all has been said and done this album should have spent more time in the studio. Get all the songs to sound like they belong together. Give them the crafting they deserve. Make the package of a new artist "GREAT". Most people who like club music will like this album. Like I said get it now. ----Brad Orendorff

"An amazingly powerful voice drives this upbeat pop album. If this doesn't get you singing in your car on the drive to work you'd better check your pulse."
