Album Description

Benzali's distinctive vocal arrangements to chestnuts "I've Got You Under My Skin" and "My Funny Valentine" lend mystery and romance, his vocal delivery reminiscent of Aaron Neville or Sting. The sensual and vibrant theatricality of Daniel's vocal is evident in the Rogers & Hammerstein everygreen "This Nearly Was Mine" and the perfect dramatic reading of Sondheim's "Anyone Can Whistle", while his keen jazz sensibility is perfectly captured in the Irving coda of "Blue Skies"

Each song has it's own flavor and after listening to this CD for several months I have not tired of it and in fact, keep discovering new favorites.
