"This album continues to remain in my personal top 5 best albums of all time. I was a fan of D'Angelo back from the days of Brown Sugar but had no idea of his musical genius until I bought Voodoo. 8 years later, I still crave it... and find myself loading it on my new iPod as we speak. I have laid in bed many a night listening to this album... made love listening to this album... drove around town to it. It's hypnotic and inspiring - instantly transporting me to a calmer, yet more introspective place."
