Clausen does it again!

"As an former member of this choir, I do feel a sense of nostalgia when a new recording comes out, but this is an excellent collection of choral standards for the Christmas season that people will enjoy. This album contains the best consistancy in choral sound and purity. Many of this group's previous albums had such a pot pourri of sounds, audience noise, that it was distracting. This doesn't have it. "The Godly Stanger" and "Sweet was the Song" are the best titles on this album. F. Melius Christiansen's rarely performed "Lost in the Night" shines, especially in the men's parts. The soloist gets a little "screechy", but the rest of the piece and album easily overcomes that. Kudos to Rene, for another great album!"
