"Listening to the Lumiere String Quartet's "Classical Wedding Music," I was alternately squealing with delight ("this was played at MY wedding!") and shedding tears of joy ("this was played at MY wedding!"). Lumiere has done a masterful job of translating these classic pieces to the quartet form. The sound is rich and full. Yes, it works if you're listening for wedding music, but what makes the CD so delightful is that it serves beautifully as chamber music . . . even outside the wedding context. There's something for everyone here -- from the sweet and delicate "Air from Suite No. 3" to the triumphant and majestic "Trumpet Voluntary/Prince of Denmark March." A treat to listen to, whether you're getting married, got married, or have no intention of getting married and just like fine music expertly played!"

"I was never much into the classic but this cd is very relaxing,calming and very well done. I bought this cd to use at my daughter's wedding and as it turns out I listen to it in my car. I'm still a child of the 60's and 70's but I truly enjoy the serenity of this cd. It's a nice calming change."
