Great blues singer from the 20's....

"Clara Smith had the prettiest voice of all the classic blues shouters of the roarin' 20's. She took most of her songs with a slow tempo, a very dicty singer with a clear voice. This cd has her earlist sessions backed by many great JAZZ musicians of the era... Highly recommended especially to classic jazz and blues fans."
