"On this CD the Church's acoustic versions of their many hits and lesser known songs are impeccably performed. The Church's esoteric and dynamic lead vocalist, Steve Kilbey, is in remarkable form on every song. The entire band really jams with vintage virtuoisity. The Church has been and continues to be one of the greatest bands on the planet. Their vocals and music are elaborate and they frequently sound superior to RadioHead, Coldplay, U2 and Simple minds. Steve KIlbey is not only a supreme singer, he is also a poet, an artist, a spiritual sage, a painter and a diehard philosophical vegetarian."

"I am a reviewer of few words but I must say that the things that the Church does to some of their legacy songs are simply unbelievable here. If you love songs like "after everything", "Two Places" or "Pure chance", you will not be disappointed because the acoustic versions transcend even the original beauty of these songs. If you are a fan of the Church, you can't miss this..."
