The mother of all Trance music!

"Ferocious and relentless electronica! This is an album which demands re-examination and a reappraisal. All the later Club/Rave culture music owes something to this recording, either directly or indirectly. The sounds are hard edged and the rhythms compulsive and throbbing ;-))

Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti, after leaving Throbbing Gristle, made an awesome album here in the early 1980s. I remember my vinyl copy of this recording well! I played it and played it and played it! It annoyed me! Captivated me! Scared me! Cut me! Hurt me! Changed me! Confused me!

Yet, here I am, in August of 2006, in Winter, listening to my CD of this album. I hear this music again and I hear it calling to me across the last two decades. It contains so many things I have yet to deal with ....

If you're into Trance, do endeavour to listen to this marvellous CD .... some time!"

"This is a fairly straight-ahead set of cold(ish) synth pop here. Some of the duos earlier and best work. Chris Carter as a producer has his own agenda here, ahead of his time for sure. Fairly rare one to keep up with for fans of the style."
