"With a voice that recalls pop intelligentsia such as Ray Davies and Glenn Tillbrook, Thom Moore is the kind of singer who can break your heart, save your life, and make you wish the song would never end." - SOMA Antenna Farm is pleased to present the self-titled debut from Chicken on a Raft, the a cappella duo profect of Thom Moore (Moore Brothers, Nedelle and Thom) and Tommy Carns (Billy Talbot Band, Boatclub). The pair has spent the last several years researching the truest American folk broadsides from the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. These songs, which touch on themes of love, murder, worker exploitation, and stolen elections, are as relevant today as they were when originally written. The duo has become a Bay Area live favorite, and has shared the stage with many of San Francisco's folk luminaries as well as Elephant 6 mainstays Ladybug Transistor and Of Montreal.
