"I am a fan of 'Israeli Blues'. Israeli music combines many musical influences, and a good number of Israeli composers exploit this richness briliantly. Compared to American folk music, Israeli lyrics are often also first rate poetry. And Chava Alberstein performs such music with great richness and sensitivity. But this CD is simply the best. I listened to it 20 times one day driving around Death Valley and from Death Valley to San Diego. I kept humming its tunes while hiking up Telescope peak. The beauty of this music fits the quiet but powerful beauty seen from the peak. Enjoy!"
