Charmaine somehow can be very sensual in her singing without being vulgar. There's a lot of emotion in her voice. I believe her when she sings about love. Favorite tracks on "Searching for the Soul" are Charmaine's reworking of the Glady's Knight classic "Neither One of Us Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye" and the old standard "The Nearness of You," which puts Norah Jones to shame. Charmaine is a beautiful singer in many ways."
