Charles Burst's credits tend to speak for themselves--A distinguished engineer at Brooklyn's Seaside Lounge recording studio, he has worked on records by The New Pornographers, Gang Gang Dance, Takka Takka, Crystal Stilts, Black Dice, and more. As a performer, he has played and sung in The Occasion, and alongside Mike Wexler, AC Newman and many others. No wonder it took him this long to finally put together his first solo album.

For Come Home And Feast, Burst Stripped away the more psychedelic aspects of his past endeavors and created a true songwriter's record filled with stripped down instrumental passages and a dark lyrical approach laced with just a hint of humor. Backing him up are a trio of similarly seasoned players--guitarist Patrick McCarthy (Latitude/Longitude), bassist Jim D'Amico (Begushkin), and drummer Jay Labbe (The Weigh Down).
