CD Reviews

A great place to start

"Cartel, IMO, is one of the best out there. period. their music is really, REALLY catchy. Almost everything you hear is a hook, and the lead singer has great pipes. Although i'd have to say i like their newest, "chroma", a little better, this record is still no less than 5 stars.

1. Lucky st...(available on "chroma", catchy as all hell 10/10)

2. Write this down...(amazingly catchy pop-punk track 9/10)

3. Hey, don't stop...(one of the catchiest pop-rockers i've ever heard. The song has two hooks and never lets down for it's entire duration. This one is the best cartel song ever IMO 11/10)

4. The city never sleeps...(another great song, very good hook, and the melody will stick in your head for awhile 10/10)

5. Last chance...(sweet 8/10)

6. The ransom...(title track, a bit more rock than pop-rock 8/10)

7. Fiend...(acoustic song. not as good as the album's songs early on in the record, but solid 7/10)

The best EP i've ever heard. If records like "say it like you mean it" and "sticks and stones" changed your life, you MUST get to know cartel. Pop-punk never sounded so good."

"Cartel is an awesome this CD is just a great at Chroma. Once again all the tracks on here are just incredible. Cartel is very talented and I have a great feeling they will be around for awhile. And this is not pop-punk it's rock n roll."
Good Album...

"I found out about Cartel a long time ago and I got one of my best friends hooked on them. My friend even got me their autograph! It has a little different sound than Chroma, but you have to listen to really hear it. A must have for any Cartel fan."
