CD ReviewsNice Groove Throughout 08/25/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "Cal Tjader sheds his usual latin influences for this treatment of popular Bacharach tunes recorded in that infamous summer of 1968, and avoids schlockdom with good phrasing and tight arrangements. These are not necessarily "jazz" performances although there are flashes of tasteful improvisation and this is a great representation of Bacharach's 1960's music.
