CD Reviews

This cd really great and put you in the right mood.
Rajendra V. Malvea | Alexandria, virginia United States | 12/09/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I have been to Cafe del Mar and would recommend other to go to. This cd really take you to cafe del mar and for those who have been there you know what i am talking about. Each song has a special feeling to it. The song by future loop "My movie is like life", is great because it just make you want to go to a lounge and order a drink and just relax out for couple hours and the song by Rue Du Soleil "In My Heart", make you sit by the beach and watch the sun as it fades away in the ocean.I think who ever is a fan of lounge music or electronica should defenitely have this cd in their collection with other cafe del mar cds. So just play this cd and just lounge on a sofa."
Way to spacy... what happened to the warm summer feeling?
T. Geerts | Amsterdam, Netherlands/Europe | 06/17/2005
(2 out of 5 stars)

"The Cafe del Mar series quickly seem to loose their warm summer vibe feeling... As one of the best compilation series around, They magically used to reflect the sun, sea, warmth, and sexy smooth ibiza feelings. Helping you to relive your summer holiday in Greece, Spain or Italy when you were enjoying your HUGE cocktail. But halfway volume 9, continuing in volumes 10 and 11, the series lost this feeling. They become WAY TOO SPACY... sounding too much like ultra-clean techno studio mixes without any mediteranean passion. The earlier cafe del mar editions used to give you that great vibe. I suggest you stick to the previous volumes 1-8 (maybe 9) and spend your money on other compilation instead. Believe me, you won't regret."
