CD Reviews

Slanted review

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I only give this album 5 stars cuz I started this band and like to see it get some notoriety. The box set is a great deal, much better than wading thru record stores and thrift shops for all of the original albums, and the price makes it a no-brainer to add to yer collection of vitally bad music. Owning this will mark you as a true purveyor of bad musical taste and thus someone i'd like to be friends with.

My complaints are A. the lack of any liner notes or credits to any of the countless folks who worked to make these albums. (approx. 65 band members made up the sum roster of the BunnyBrains) and B. I encourage you to "share" your copy of this album liberally as any profit made here will only be going to ONE of the aforementioned band members (said transvestite in a trucker hat from the other review).

Musically, the first CD "CD*1993" is the best of the lot. There are a few songs on the other albums that rank as superb, monumental and hilarious, and thus make the $10 this costs used well worth yer purchase, but there is also a lot of lame filler on these discs and that can make the listening experience rather irritating. I'd recommend for the first time bunnybrains listener to buy the much more entertaining and listenable "Sin Gulls Goring St. Eddy" CD which compiles the bands collection of 45 rpm releases.
