Elevator Music

"What the hell happened to B-Tribe?! After creating some of the sexiest, most mysterious and intriguing soundscapes ever over the previous five albums, the Barcelona Tribe of Soulsters decided to play a joke on us all and release this absolute turd. Imagine if Spielberg and Lucas decided to follow up the Indiana Jones trilogy with a crappy fourth movie about a Crystal Skull and you'll get an idea of what a waste of ones and zeros this album is. It sounds like rehashed flamenco riffs laid over Muzak. Whatever happened to the beats?

No shocker that many B-Tribe fans deny the very existence of Volume 6 and would rather stuff their ears with the Ceti Eels from Star Trek the Wrath of Kahn than listen to it again. Avoid at all costs."
Not as good as the earlier b-tribe albums

"I have been a big fan of B-tribe for about 15 yrs. I love their earlier albums, but this one is a bit of a let down. Their music is sensual and a great way to get in the mood and enhance the experience (wink-wink). But this, which I think may be their last album is disappointing. Their albums I love are Fiesta Fatal, Sensual Sensual and Suave Suave is the bomb!"
Pleasant, Introspective, Emotive

"This album is an extension of B Tribe's 4th album Spiritual, Spiritual. Its mood is toned down even more from that album. Gone are the tribal beats and gypsy vocals of albums 1-3 and in its place are well designed soundscapes that are meant to be listened to from beginning to end. It is an escape album; you play it and it takes you places. If you don't like mellow music you will not like this. Remember everyone does not have to sound like Green Day. It is truly original with Sudka and Goodbye being top notch songs. This CD is not for everyone. Hence the Import only release and the near 40 dollar price tag. I admit I hesitated in purchasing this release because of the price but ended up getting it as a Christmas present. I am so glad I did. I guess I am more interested in the evolution of B Tribe and so I am partial to albums 4, 5 and now 6. If you enjoyed 4 and 5 more than 1-3 then you will probably enjoy this one as well. If you prefered earlier B Tribe you probably should save your money."
