One hit wonders or a little more ?
Alexis De Baets | Brussels, Belgium | 06/08/2007
(3 out of 5 stars)

"I don't think Los Bravos had another hit in their life than Black is Black, and I don't really know where the extra tracks are coming from, but anyway...

I bought this album when it was first released mostly because it was very cheap (at least in Brussels). I loved the title track and I listened to the rest with interest. It was a spanish group, but the singer was german and he sang in english (for marketing reasons) with an incredible accent that made, I imagine, a lot for the success of the single. The opening riff was also a good idea.

It's a funny souvenir for me, but I must admit that it doesn't stand the test of time too well...
