When you hear them play, you will instantly be blown away by the impact their music has on anyone. They fill the room, and they are only five people. Recently, my high school band (which I am part of) played with the Boston Brass. When we heard them play, we whispered to each other "These guys are too good, we can't play with them." They are great guys, and great musicians. This CD is one of their best.The Brass has a habit of sounding like an entire band and orchestra turned into one, and this is a truly amazing sensation. Their music is for everyone (They mix classical and jazz music in a blend that works for everyone). This CD is definitely worth the [$$$]" Is this really just a brass quintet? I've heard many brass quintets, but none play jazz music like this."
