Synopsis

Album Description
Every obstacle, every struggle, and all the negativity you may experience in the big city holds true even in the backwaters, away from the neon lights. Each has its mirrored examples of hate, anger, and pain. But these things are merely seeds to be collected, planted, and then harvested. At the end, you reap what you sow. Boondox brings to the rap scene a rural underground sound that is more intense, more gritty, more real than the urban beats you hear on the radio. This bold new artist, backed by the proven talents of Psychopathic Records, will cause the rain to fall, invigorationg the seeds of hardship. The Harvest calls for a new era that will return life back to the rap scene. Boondox brings the southern USA style of rap to Psychopathic Records, creating a brand new fusion to the industry. The Harvest incorporates the production talents of the legendary Mike E Clark of Funhouse Studios. The album features guests from the Psychopathic Records family, including Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid Blaze, and AMB.

CD Reviews

Mix Banjos with Psychopathic

"that is pretty much what you got here with a absolutely talented artist. Boondox is a breath of fresh air for psychopathic records. i love ICP, like twiztid, but think blaze and ABK are so-so. this guy just jumped above Blaze and ABK and up there with Esham in my books. i loved the fact he used the southern boondock sound to enhance his own unique style.

pretty much everyone who reviewed this CD so far have said what their favorite songs were, but i have to say the entire CD from start to finish is a masterpiece. even people who ain't into psychopathic music that i have introduced this artist to like this. that seems kind of hard to do lately with psychopathic records. check this one out.

if you happened to catch AMB (Axe Murder Boyz) and was expecting to hear the same thing, don't worry. this cd is much much better. I just heard AMB's cd and thought i heard a new twiztid album. it was like deja vu. Boondox did not copy anyone's style. he has his own."
Psychopathic for Life

"That's right. The Harvest is here and it's a great time to be alive. If this doesn't catch your ear then you should go buy some nipple tassles and listen to Britney Spears. Boondox is the best thing to hit Psychopathic since Twiztid. I hope he hangs out longer than ABK--sucks that Psychopathic lost him but he's still around (and his work is the sh**)Completely different sound from the normal Detroit sound (does Detroit have a 'normal' sound?) The country beats are sick! The flows are sick, the video for "they pray with snakes" is sick. He even has a cool image (sometimes I think image holds artists back--look at Blaze--great rapper, not the best image (sorry man, still got love for your work). So go get the Harvest and then F#42 OFF!"
